MICROBLADING
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up procedure through the manual process of inserting pigment into the second upper layers of skin, to either enhance, reshape, or create a natural-looking appearance on the brows. Microblading creates the desired fullness and best shape for the clients' eyebrows and face.
The Microblading Treatment
Microblading is the process of creating tiny superficial cuts in and along the brow, and then depositing a pigment over the arches (curving arch-like patterns) so it would seep into the hair-like strokes just created. Microblading is a two-part process. You will have your perfecting session 6-8 weeks after your first session. Your new brows will be due for annual maintenance 8-12 months from your second session.
Who should consider Microblading?
For anyone who needs full reconstruction, a scar filled in, darker brows, or just fluffier defined brows without applying makeup every day, Microblading is for you!
Pigment vs. Ink
Unlike tattoo ink, Microblading uses pigment. Naturally, the pigment will exfoliate out of the skin over time causing the pigment to lighten! This is what makes Microblading temporary and why it needs to be maintained. The good news is that because it is so temporary and we use pigments the client doesn’t experience old undertones of color while it fades.
What is a Perfecting Session and why is it so important?
Every client must be seen for 2 sessions. After the first session, you will think your brows are great and don’t need the second however, what you see and what your Microblading Artist sees are very different. Perfecting sessions are done 6-8 weeks from your initial treatment. At this point, the artist goes over retention and adds in any detail for the final desired look. To ensure the duration you can expect your brows to last you must be seen for the second session, at that time the client will be given an approximate date to be seen for annual maintenance about 8-12 months out! *Any client that declines their second visit will not be considered if results do not last and will have to pay the full amount again.

Will the artist shave my eyebrows?
The answer is No! The only time any hair will be removed is after the desired shape is formed and drawn and the hair that’s there doesn’t make sense for the desired look the client is going for. At that point, the client would be shown the hair that’s being removed and reassured that this is the desired shape that they are looking for! To achieve the most natural look with Microblading the artist should always try to integrate and incorporate your natural hair with the best shape for your face! We like to keep as much hair on your eyebrow as possible.
Does it hurt?
It’s about a level 3 on the pain scale however the client is numbed at the very start of the session before the first pass and then during the whole procedure with a blue gel that can be used the whole duration for comfortability.
